Our story
A decade of DICOM,
distilled into an API.
Dicomly isn't a slick tool wired together overnight with AI to ride the trend — it has a story. It comes from a tech team building secure DICOM systems in production since 2011, including a platform acquired by Philips.
- 2011
FetView
It started with FetView — an online OBS/GYN (obstetrics & gynecology) reporting solution built on DICOM, including a service that launched and managed DICOM instances. Real clinical imaging, in production, over a decade ago.
- 2015
Zeitgeist Health SE
FetView was operated by Zeitgeist Health SE. The platform moved fully into Docker, with TLS end to end — the hard-won lessons of secure DICOM at scale baked in early.
- 2021
Acquired by Philips
Zeitgeist Health SE, the company behind FetView, was acquired by Philips — independent validation that the team understood medical imaging, security, and production healthcare software.
- Today
Dicomly
Dicomly turns more than a decade of running DICOM over the Internet into a single connectivity API. Receiving DICOM from a hospital is now one API call for any software team.
We already solved "receive DICOM over TLS, reliably, in production." Dicomly is that — as infrastructure you can call.
